It is interesting to note that at the recent Exhibition at

Canton a charge vas made for admission, and on the vening of the

B4th the Chinese Kanbers of Council and leading members of the Chinese community were the first to urge upon the officials of the Fair the unĉesirability of permitting free access to people of the
